Graduate Classes

I feel like I am completely nuts some days. I am taking a graduate class at PSU. It meets for three weekends every other week and of course there is homework! I have no idea why I though that I could juggle 2 kids working full time and a class. While at the same time I love taking classes and increaseing my education and worth.
My mother is the true gem in all of this activity. For my first class she has come down to watch my children here. This has had it so much easier for my traveling day. The middle class we are meeting and she is watching the children at her house and the last class she is returning here to watch the girls.
I will let you all know how everything works out right now my mind is buzzing with the overwhelming state of everything.

Reminiscing.....

Thinking back to a year ago....I had an infant not even a month old who did not sleep unless I was holding her. I always held her. I was still on maternity leave. My house was much cleaner than it is now and I thought that it was dirty then. I still cannot believe that a full year has passed and my girls are so wonderful. Andrea is so proud of her little sister. This hasn't changed since the day Ahleah was born. A year ago she would give me pacifiers and ask to help me breastfeed Ahleah. Andrea would gently touch Ahleah's face and tell me that she was the softest thing she ever touched. She would cover her ears when Ahleah cried and tell me to "just hold her mommy". Andrea called Ahleah "her" baby and referred to her as the "sleeping beauty".
Now Andrea calls Ahleah "sissy" and hugs her so tightly that she knocks her over. Andrea pinches her cheeks and talks very loudly in her face as if she cannot hear. She screams when Ahleah touches her toys and tells me "lee-lee is touching my stuff". Andrea will tell Ahleah to "just stop screaming". Andrea loves her sister very much and 1 year has completely changed my little family.

Aren't we so cute all snuggled up together. I miss the days of holding my sleeping baby and maternity leave.
I love the days we have now. We are active and busy. Ahleah is beginning to talk and we can make out more and more of what she is saying. She can tell me when she wants food, snuggles, held and to play. Andrea has filled the shoes of the big sister and is the best helper I could ever ask for. I truely feel blessed.
