Prybyla Christmas
Our family Christmas was very exciting for both of our wonderful girls. Andrea stumbled on her gifts from Santa on accident which made it almost like a Christmas morning. Santa had come to each of the girls in their bedrooms...mostly because Andrea had a Christmas tree in her bedroom.

Andrea recieved from Santa a Barbie Princess Castle and one of the small Barbie girls that went with it. She had seen the castle in a toy magazine and it was all that she talked about for over a month. She loved her gifts and Chris was amazing at wrapping the girls presents and putting together the Castle before wrapping it. Having toys together and ready to play with makes a huge difference in th eexcitement of the Christmas moment.

Ahleah recieved from Santa a crazy Christmas dog that sings and flaps its ears while it dances. She loved this crazy dog. She also recieved a book called "Counting Kisses" which she loves to chew on but still has no patience for sitting and being read to. Here is the video we made of Ahleah dancing to the Christmas dog.

It has been a completely crazy Becker Christmas!
We had an amazing Christmas celebration with my parents and siblings this past weekend. The girls loved it of course! They each recieved way too many gifts and love opening them and playing with their new toys. I think they both enjoy the wrapping paper more than the toys!
We also had a whole family photo taken which was mildly a disaster! I didn't realize that all of the family was to be in the photo. I thought it was for the grandparents and the girls! So I was not as prepared a I should have been. My older brother and his wife had the same impressions as I did. Eye glasses, ponytails, un shaved faces and all we were in the photo! I will add a photo once I recieve mine! I love family photos for the value of looking back at where we were and how we have changed. The last Becker family photo was taken in 2000. It is funny looking at how young we were then.
I wish that this Christmas celebration was longer. The time spent with family always seems so short. Hopefully I will make a trip to Towanda again in January with the girls. The 4 hour drive to get there is my only hesitation!

The next Christmas celebration will be in Tucson AZ with the Prybyla side of the family. Wish us luck for Ahleah's first flight and traveling with two children! We are scheduled to fly Christmas morning at 5:35 am. I really wish I were packed and wrapped already but I haven't even begun!

Tonight Ahleah took about 5 steps! I cannot believe that she is really starting to walk. She has been taking transitional steps between objects maybe 2 at most. I am really not ready for my sweet baby to become a true toddler and toddle around! Andrea is her cheerleader and love to help sometimes too much! I can't believe how quickly these girls have grown. They are so beautiful, unique, smart, silly, sweet, the both have sparkling eyes and contagious smiles!

Almost Christmas!

Yesterday I took Andrea and Ahleah to the santa's workshop at the bass pro shop with Courtney Gavin and Chloe. Andrea and Gavin were so very cute as the ran around together like best friends. They both were excited to see santa and ask for the toy they dream of for christmas. Ahleah and Chloe are both such easy going kids. The stroller were rolling and they were happy. Ahleah as always doesn't like the stroller and wants to be carried. So I always feel so silly haveing a huge sit n stand stroller with no children in it!

Today was so busy! Andrea and Ahleah had their school christmas program. I love that there is a school christmas program. Each year they sing new songs and each year I think Andrea gets better. We as usual were late. Chris and I could not agree on the starting time of the program and Ahleah at the last minute spit-up on her dress and had to be changed. Ahleah hates to have her clothes changed.

I cannot believe that christmas is less than three weeks away! I have so much to get done!

We just returned from a fabulous Thanksgiving with my parents and siblings in Towanda. Andrea was a wonderful entertainer as always, Ahleah and Kyla have begun to bond as cousins. They are so cute when they play together. I only wish I had more opportunities to see my neice and watch her grow. I feel so distant from her.

Tammy has become a terrific Aunt to all of her lovely neices. She is a great person for Andrea to shadow and is beginning to assist more and more with Ahleah and Kyla. I love her and wish I was closer to her.

Andrea has finally had all of her Birthday celebrations. I am realizing that we did too much. She had a great time and that is why we do what we do. I have never seen a child glow the way she did when the birthday song was sung. Here are some pictures...They tell it much better than I do!

Happy Halloween!

Andrea and Ahleah had a great time 'Trick or Treating!' We met Andrea's best friend Kayli and her family for 'Trick or Treating.' Andrea dressed as a butterfly she was so very cute. She loved going from door to door and was encouraging Kayli to be brave when there were scary costumes.

Ahleah fell fast asleep within the first 3 houses. She dressed as a ladybug wearing the costume Andrea had worn when she was a little one! Here are some pictures of my beautiful girls in costume.

Her first field trip
She had a great time! The trip was perfect for  3 year olds. It had a demonstration and hands on pretzel and then we had a picnic in the park!

She was so smiley and happy all day long!

My girls swimming while we were camping in Elizabethtown.

They both loved the water so much.

Ahleah cut her first tooth on this camping trip. You would of never guessed it though. She was just the happiest, smiling, little girl I have ever seen. She never complained. This camping trip was so much fun. I cannot wait to camp with my family again!

Here are all of us girls snuggling in our tent! I slept so well on this trip.

Barbie's

I am really not sure that I am ready for Andrea to want to play with Barbie's. I feel like it is a sign of her growing up. She loves them at Nana's house and I have a strong feeling we will be bringing some home very soon.

This is my very favorite picture of me with the girls! We were playing chase and I actually managed to catch both of them at the same time. I love the game of chase the giggling that comes from each of them is so different yet similar and addictive. I love hearing the laughter of my children. There is not a sweeter sound.
Nana with Ahleah. They are both in love with each other. I can't tell who works harder at making the other smile. I can't believe how quickly Ahleah has grown. She will never stop amazing me.

4th of July!

For the 4th of July we traveled to Towanda to spend the holiday with my family. Andrea went to the fireworks with Nana, Pappy and Aunt Tammy. She loved them and was a little frightened by the noise. She asked to see fireworks every day for the following 2 weeks. Ahleah did not go as I worried that the noise would be too strong for her young ears. She was very happy during this visit and we all enjoyed comparing the little ones. Kyla has grown so much since we have seen her last. She looks more like Dave than I though she would. A very happy little girl.
Here is Uncle Dave holding Kyla and Aunt Jessie holding Ahleah. Both girls smile so easily and have the prettiest big blue eyes.

Andrea was playing with Play doh and haveing a great time. I had to join her for a tickle and a kiss. I like to watch her with play doh for some reason I think I may have eaten it as a child and don't think it is the healthest choice for a snack.
